John (Jack) Keenan
CEO Grand Cru Consulting

Jack is the founder and CEO of Grand Cru Consulting Ltd. Grand Cru is today Jack’s vehicle for  co-producing and investing in London theatre. Jack has always had a keen interest in theatre and was a founding member and Board member of National Angels.

National Angels co-produced theatre transfers from the National Theatre to London’s West End and to New York City over 15 years.

Jack has been CEO of the wine and spirits business now known as Diageo after the merger of Grand Met and Guinness. Prior to Grand Met he was the CEO and Chairman of Kraft General Foods International.

Jack has also been active in private equity with Oaktree Capital in London where he was a senior advisor and chaired several boards.

Non-executive posts were held in Marks and Spencer, Tomkins PLC, The Body Shop and General Mills Inc.

He graduated from Tufts University (Phi Beta Kappa with honours) and has an MBA from Harvard.

He is a resident of the United Kingdom.
